Inactivity

Another month of no pictures. Yes, of course, inactivity, as always. The homework load is just killing me!

Spring break is in two weeks. I'll probably post one or two more pics during that time.

Goodbye for now. sorry...

Update

Just added a feedback comment.

Sigh...school has started again, and I'm back to being loaded with homework every day. I will not have time to focus on this website for a while. So this is just a notice that I will be "idle" for a month or so.

Check back in a while. I will focus on the site again during Spring Break, in April.

Goodbye

Web Storage

Hannes Meitzner recommended to me a supposedly useful web storage site. I will upload all public files soon. Stay tuned!

I have made a few renders over the past few days. I will also upload those soon.

Three people have provided feedback for my site. Thanks to Hannes Meitzner and Mr. Ben Yu! And I can't forget Oliver Chou (a.k.a. "The OC") who usually renders most of my complex scenes! :)  View the feedback page for more info.

I have added Meltingice.net to the Links page. My website is also on his links page, so I decided to add a link to his page.

It is Friday, the end of the week. One week of no school...flies by so swiftly. I abhor this kind of moment. LOL

Update

Today is the start of a week off school. So I used the time to change some banners, add more pictures and albums, and finally add an "about me" section.

If you look at the Terragen 2 gallery, you will notice a flash gallery. I worked my *** off trying to get that PHP gallery working. I finally gave up and used the manual way. I hope you like the new interface.

The about me section is a compilation of all of the questions people have asked me via email. If you have a question, just contact me. And yes, there are some humorous questions there.

I will continue to update frequently, hopefully.

Major Update

"It's about time, Vincent!"
Yes, it is about time. I had to study for final exams so I basically put this website aside. Keep in mind that no one else is working for me. (If you would like to help keep my website updated, please contact me!)

Well...two months with no update. To be honest, I lost interest in computer art for a while since the last update. I was then re-inspired after I downloaded the free version of Terragen 2 Tech Preview. With its ease of use, I was able to create many "experimental" scenes. My reaction? ... WOW!

I recently obtained a copy of Vue 6 xStream. I decided to go xStream instead of Vue 6 Infinite because I wanted to try integrating scenes into other software. Unfortunately, I haven't tried doing that.

New albums, new scenes, new gallery layout, and more upcoming pictures...what more can you expect? I am now on a roll...and I will try to push myself so I don't lose interest again after a week of making pictures and rendering intensively...lol.

Finally, an update...

Almost two months with no update! I feel so special. Just kidding. But I do apologize for such a long wait. Please understand that this website is considered lowest priority on my to-do list, since I have homework and other stuff to take care of.

However, since today is Veteran's Day and I have the day off from school, I decided to update the website. I upgraded the Vue Video page with a streaming engine! Now, you don't have to wait for the video to load before watching. Also, each video is played in a separate window.

There is a common error where Internet Explorer won't display the popup window. PLEASE ENABLE ACTIVEX CONTROLS!!! I hope you enjoy the new user interface.

In a few days, I will upload another video and several pictures. Look forward for them!

Once again...welcome back...LOL. And now, laters.

Terragen Mania!

One day, I fiddled around with several terrain generator programs and used the terrains in Terragen. I rendered a lot that day. Thanks to Oliver Chou and his powerful computer. It rendered a lot of my pictures, a lot faster than my machine.

New Terragen pictures. Look at them and give me feedback.

Major Update

Uploaded "Bosque" as my first scene of the volumetric lighting project! I have learned a lot from this study and I'll continue. Heck, I already have plans for my next project.

Many people have complained about the absence of a "back" button in my galleries. I have added one.

Feedback!

Update...Finally!

Ugh! An entire month of no update. Sorry about that. Honestly, I put this website on the bottom of my priority list because of homework.

Nevertheless, I still had time to render! There are several times where I come home from school, turn on the computer, and start a render. I let it go overnight...rarely.

La Mer has been uploaded. It's my first scene with shorelines. I spent so much time looking for function nodes to create that type of effect. I hope you like it. Please give me feedback!

Update

The Vue Album 2 has been updated with 5 new pictures. At the moment I'm still trying to regain knowledge of Vue since I have been away from it for so long.

Enjoy the photos.

Summer

Wow, about a month with no update. Summer school and homework prevented me from updating this site. I just want to say thanks to those who gave feedback. It helped a lot. I believe my Vue skills are improving. I'm learning Vue's lighting utility. Now I pretty much use global illumination for most of my scenes. A lot more realism can be achieved that way.

Since my Vue album got too cluttered, I started a new one. Take a look at it and give me feedback. Thanks.

Summer school has just ended and I have to start on my summer homework! Oh no....

Good luck to my fellow RBHS friends!

SCHOOL'S OVER!!!!!!!!

You can't believe how happy I am. All that studying, worth it. No I will not tell you my grades. Consider them mediocre. That's all I will tell you. I shouldn't have said that! Whatever.

But where in the world did my links page go??????? I don't know. Do you? I suppose not. I'll get this fixed as soon as possible. I think it is still on my flash drive.

That was a short post.

Xanga...

Blog sites are so popular now. I already discussed my detestation towards Myspace below. So now I wjll talk about Xanga. Don't be surprised. I do have one! http://www.xanga.com/viche12345

I'll use this site as a way to keep people informed about updates, picture uploads, and the like.

I decided to get a Xanga since my friends and my entire church have one! I have to say Xanga is a lot better than Myspace, because of it's versatility and bandwidth. You can design your own layout on Xanga, a brilliant feature that does not exist on distasteful Myspace. Sorry Tom.

Someone at my school, named Tiffany Wen, helped set it up for me. Thanks Tiffany.

TOMORROW IS THE LAST DAY OF FINALS! I have to study hard. So have a nice day. Bye.

June 19, 2006

Site is finally online!

...after a month or so, hehe.

Enjoy.

Myspace???????????????

Why is Myspace so important nowadays? Really...It's like I want to know how your shnookypookum got a stomachache or something absurd.

But people ask if I have a Myspace. Can't you tell that this website is my Myspace? I actually spend time designing the website while those narcissists wait for each page to load from the sluggish Myspace server. Well there you have it. Enjoy this site.

Vue Insanity Undergoes Entire Makeover

During our spring break, a virus somehow entered my sturdy rig and caused malfunctions and the blue screen of death to pop up every 5 minutes. I had to reformat the hard drive. While backing up my files, I forgot to backup my site directory. That's how my old site got erased. After a few, mournful days I managed to spend time in Spanish and Math class (ahem...blarg?) drafting the layout of this site. Here it is. If you don't like it, who cares?

Anywayzzzzzz...this site is a little incomplete (duh). So deal with it. I need to study for finals so I may not have a lot of time to work on this site. I'll update if I have time.

That's all. Goodbye for now.
